The hotel has two rooms Licensed for Civil Ceremonies; The Restaurant for 60 and our Riverside Suite for 80, which has a conservatory and terrace overlooking the River Dunn and Bear Island.

The Historical history of The Bear,having once been owned by Henry VIII and given to his wife Catherine Parr,it's beamed ceilings and uneven floors give it that sence of romance that every one is looking for when looking for a wedding venue.

We even offer exclusive use of the Bear Hotel for  wedding parties, together with wedding packages for Food and Drink.
