Take them up the Kennet and Avon Canal (only 2 minutes walk from the hotel), then walk to The Dundars Arms at Kintbury (1 hour away) where they can have a rest and a pint, whilst you chase the ducks and have a well earned bag of crisps and bowl of water.

Get them to take you onto The Common or The Marsh in Hungerford, great open spaces to run in and a good circular short walk back to the Hotel for tea.

If you can persuade them to take you further, if you can get them away from the shops or The Bar, then Savernake Forrest is only 30 Minutes away, with fantastic walks and smells to be had everywhere.

They don't even have to pack our bed as the hotel has some available if rquired
