Dog Friendly Hotel
Bring your owners to The Bear Hotel in Hungerford, one of the few Dog Friendly Hotels in The North Wessex Downs, for a change of Scene, A relaxing break, a romantic getaway for them and of course a different walk for you.
Situated in the historic market town of Hungerford in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is so much for the "owners" to do, but better still, the walk opportunities are endless.
Take them up the Kennet and Avon Canal (only 2 minutes walk from the hotel), then walk to The Dundus Arms at Kintbury (1 hour away) where they can have a rest and a pint, whilst you chase the ducks and have a well earned bag of crisps and bowl of water.

Get them to take you onto The Common or The Marsh in Hungerford, great open spaces to run in and a good circular short walk back to the Hotel for tea.
If you can persuade them to take you further and if you can get them away from the shops or The Bar, then Savernake Forest is only 30 Minutes away, it is the only privately owned forest in Britain and will give you 4,500 acres to play in with fantastic walks and smells to be had everywhere. The Wiltshire downs are even closer with stunning views across this ancient landscape.
They don't even have to pack your bed as the hotel has some available if required.
Go On, Suggest they get away to Hungerford and explore the beautiful countryside of Berkshire and Wiltshire and stay at The Bear!
