Shopping in Hungerford

Each Month the Bear has a different display of items for sale from our local shops, so why not treat yourself or that special loved one to one of their gifts!

If it's a family day out, Legoland Windsor is about 30 minutes away and Buckleberry Farm where you can feed the animals, have a tractor ride tour and enjoy nature in progess.

Hungerford has many unique, individual shops selling a fantastic range of bespoke items. The Hungerford Arcade and The Emporium are just two of the many antique shops in Hungerford offering an eclectic mix of vintage and original items. The famous Kennet and Avon Canal runs a short walk from the hotel and  The Rose of Hungerford barge can take you on a lovely 2 hour trip with a knowledgeable crew and beautiful scenery.
